Boland College invites suitably qualified and experienced lecturers, facilitators, and subject matter experts to register on our Recruitment Database for consideration for short-term relief, temporary, and ad hoc teaching opportunities that may arise from time to time at short notice.

By submitting your details, your application will be retained on the Recruitment Database for a period of six (6) months from the date of registration. During this period, the College may use the database to identify and shortlist candidates for available short-term relief positions based on operational requirements, qualifications, experience, and other relevant selection criteria.

Please note that the Recruitment Database is intended solely for short-term relief, temporary, and ad hoc appointments. Permanent and fixed-term vacancies advertised by the College will be filled through the normal recruitment and selection processes, and interested applicants must submit applications in response to the specific vacancy advertisements published on the Boland College website vacancy page.

Position Details

Salary Scale

R256 395 - R410 565 per Annum, plus 37% in lieu of benefits.

Educational Requirements

  • •National Senior Certificate (Matric)
  • •Relevant qualification (Diploma/Degree) in line with the listed programmes
  • •TVET Education Lecturing Qualification
  • •Trade Test, where applicable

Minimum Requirements

  • •A minimum of 0-2 years experience in the TVET sector
  • •Registered with South African Council for Educators (SACE)
  • •Moderator, Assessor and Facilitator certificates will be an added advantage
  • •A Valid Driver's licence

Duties

  • •Engage in learning/facilitation as per workload
  • •Assess and record the performance of students
  • •Provide guidance on the latest developments on approaches to the program
